Over the last year, we have been working to win commitments from colleges and universities to transition to 100 percent renewable energy. So far this year, the University of California system, the University of California, Berkeley, Brown University and Vanderbilt University have made commitments to shift to clean, renewable energy for all of their power. Students have been the driving force behind this campaign which is why we are creating a Student Advisory Board.

The Student Advisory Board will work with Environment America staff to help coordinate our campus campaign nationwide. You’d help persuade colleges and universities to go 100 percent renewable, driving the movement for clean energy. The Student Advisory Board will be featured on our website, partake in monthly calls to get updates on future campaign plans and work with the media to increase visibility for 100 percent renewable energy.

If you’re interested and would like to apply, you can find the form right here. The deadline for application is May 15th, 2019 at 9PM ET.

Please feel free to reach out to bronte@environmentamerica.org if you have any questions about the Student Advisory Board!
